I had a good experience with Broadway Automotive and Transmission, and I will keep going back. This is a well-organized business, and dealing with Paul is a pleasure. Of course, having car problems and facing the bill is never fun. But, what you are really interested in is having someone be honest with you about the problem and actually fixing it and getting your car running again. I also appreciate the honest conversation about another issue on my old car that I chose not to fix. I also appreciate being able to make the appointment online.

Lake Merrit is often referred to as "the Jewel of Oakland". I will have to say - Broadway Automotive deserves that designation in their list of accolades as well! Paul and Reece plus all the trusty mechanics at Broadway Automotive are amazing. Great, honest, careful work done on our 2004 Honda Pilot. This vehicle is now the trainer car for the second teen in our home to get their license. From regular maintenance, to brakes, to rebuilding the transmission, to rebuilding an exhaust system (after the catalytic converter was prematurely extracted!) - they can do it all. Fair pricing, friendly service, ready when you need it, why bother with any other mechanic in the Bay Area?
